Twitterpated Sky

I have some pictures of swallows and a cool video of them swooping around our doorway.  I've been meaning to post these  since July, when I took them! I miss the swallows at our door.

Oh, and if you missed the memo
earlier this week, I'm on Twitter now!
(Seemed to fit today's theme).

Music the Moves Me - Merry Christmas!

This one isn't so much for the music, though that's pretty...the rest is indeed a silly concept, yet one that moved me all the same.

I guess just putting them in a modern perspective.

Another song that takes their perspective (or Mary's at least)...and one of my favoite Christmas songs ever...Breath of Heaven.

And, my husband's favorite Christmas song (same theme).

Wildlife in Our Backyard

My kids found a rabbits nest in our backyard last week! Didn't get great pictures of the babies, but we got a really good video. The first part is the only part with the babies...the rest is the mommy rabbit trying to cover up the nest so we couldn't peek anymore!  Unfortunately, the You Tube embedded window is a little big for the blog so you might want to view it on YouTube.

Here's another picture of the mom:
Mommy Bunny

The lil' rabbits are gone now (not GONE, gone...just left the nest). What a neat experience, though!

I'm including this on  Wordless Wednesday and Throwback Thursday.

88 Year Old Woman Comments on Texas Snowstorms (and other things)

A friend shared this with me...gather it's been around forever, but this is my first time seeing it. In it Ellen DeGeneres returns a call from a 88 lady named Gladys from Austin Texas. The whole thing is hilarious, but I especially loved Gladys' commentary on the hullabaloo over a snowstorm in Austin. Snow is more common here in Texas than in most of California (I was lucky enough to live in one of the few places that got it regularly when I lived there)...but the reaction to it is pretty much the same.

Anyways, enjoy!
