Just enough pink in those clouds to make one think of fairies or frosting!
SKY DITTY
A little birdie told me, Although I don’t know why, That if I were to look up, Way up into the sky, I’d see some wondrous planets, The moon and sun and stars – There before my very eyes Blazed Jupiter and Mars!
The last two nights I have spread a quilt out under the big pecan tree in our front yard, nestled my head on a comfy pillow and watched the sky! Last night the stars were shining, the moon was mellow yellow and the clouds could be seen. The wind billowed the leaves creating a kaleidoscope overhead. Tonight the breeze lifted the leaves and then settled them down again as if smoothing out her skirts. No moon. No stars. LD and I both decided that watching the sky at night was a mush better pastime than watching TV. I always enjoy YOUR Sky Watch photos!
These are pretty and delicate silhouetted leaves against the lovely pastel sky.
